The government has announced that schools across the country will close after Friday 20th March until further notice. Please click here for more information.
The government announced that provision will be made by schools for the children of ‘key workers’ and for ‘vulnerable’ pupils. If you have any queries about this, please speak with your school by Friday. We need to make clear that the legal duty of a headteacher is always to ensure the safety of both pupils and staff so schools will only open if it is safe to do so. We will ensure that parents and carers are kept informed about this.
Children will need to stay at home, so we ask that you do not send your child into school from Monday onwards.
You will still be able to contact the school via the office email account email@example.com which will be monitored throughout the time of any school closure. The school may need to contact you directly so please make sure that we have your correct email address and telephone number in order for us to do this.
Thank you for your continued support during this complex time, and we will be in touch with more information when we can.
