International Collaboration

Project Based Learning   (2018 - 2020)

Project based learning is an exciting way for pupils to engage with different subjects in an active  way.   As part of our focus on teaching in this way, we are exchanging knowledge and experience with teachers from 4 other schools who also use this approach.  Our partnership includes schools from the UK, Sweden, Spain and France.  This is part of our Erasmus+ School Exchange partnership project work, supported by the  EU.

Spanish and Science Skills   (2018 - 2020)

To support our teaching, some of our staff are undertaking training abroad in their half terms breaks.  To benefit our teaching of Spanish, some staff are working on improving their Spanish language skills at  courses in Malaga and Las Palmas.   Other staff are learning about STEM/ Science teaching in Latvia or Cyprus.  This is part of our 2 year Erasmus+ In-service Training project, supported by the EU.

Pupil Health & Well-Being   (2015 - 17)

Pupil Health and Well-Being are important to us at John Donne Academy and we are proud to collaborate around this theme  with London South Bank University, Alfred Salter Primary School, Club Pulse Goldsmiths and universities and schools in Greece and Gran Canaria.  This is part of our 2 year Erasmus+ partnership project work,  supported by the EU.
